
The time has come for you to start finding gigs but you don’t know where to turn. Maybe you need to get back to the basics, or find a simple idea that can help you land a few extra gigs this year. Hopeully this will help.
1. Get some business cards. Put them all over your town and give them to whoever you can. You will be suprised how an anonymous person can lead to a gig but make sure your business cards stand out. It’s a marketing tool and people will look at it as an extension of you.
2. Always invite promoters, club owners, bookers, prospects, and past clients to your gigs. Creating an email list or sending a text message for this purpose is better than posting on your social network page but they both work. Read more »
